Shark Reef
Fenwick Shoals
Depth: 20-35 ft
Abundant in coral, Shark Reef is a large shallow reef at Fenwick Shoals where divers frequently see small blacktips, duskies, sharpnose, and sandbar sharks patrolling amongst the large schools of small fish living on the reef. This reef system if exploding with life! During the summer months, this dive requires only a 3mil wetsuit because of its shallow depth. This is one dive not to miss!
The Outer Wreck
Fenwick Shoals
Depth: 20-35 ft
A popular shallow natural wreck site, The Outer Wreck consists of rubble and old ship wreckage on the outskirts of Fenwick Shoals. Dive explorers can observe an abundance of life and coral formations in depths of 20 to 30 ft. The warmer surface thermocline requires only a 3mil wetsuit during the summer months. This is a great spot for divers new to Ocean City and is also where we take students for their Open Water Checkout Dives.
